Destination Gippsland welcomes you to visit Gippsland when you hold your next event here.
We encourage you to experience the diverse nature-based experiences on offer that will complement your event.
Due to its proximity to Melbourne, Gippsland is well placed to service event organisers with a variety of venues, accommodation styles and significant world class sporting and recreational facilities.
Gippsland’s destination appeal is underpinned by its spectacular national parks showcasing alpine peaks and old growth forests including Croajingolong, Tarra Bulga and Mount Baw Baw. We have one of Australia’s biggest and most beautiful inland water ways – the Gippsland Lakes, pristine stretches of coastline including Ninety Mile Beach, along with other popular places to see wildlife such as Wilsons Promontory National Park and Phillip Island.
With engaging towns and villages scattered throughout the region, and emerging creative industries, the opportunities to explore are endless. Gippsland inspires adventure with swimming, fishing, camping, boating, cycling, and hiking along with a range of other activities. Local produce is abundant and celebrated regionally and internationally.
Gippsland’s natural beauty, outstanding experiences, and life changing moments inspire the world to visit. We invite your event to our region and look forward to you finding inspiration here.
