Omeo Recreation Reserve
Recreation reserve and sporting facilities including oval, netball and tennis courts. Omeo is a remote alpine community, surrounded by gobsmacking views of the high country and access to the Alpine National Park. Omeo is a key destination along the Great Alpine Road, connecting the Gippsland Lakes with Victoria’s High Country.

Woolamai Race Track
A grass track with a clay soil base, the track has a circumference of approximately 1,500 metres. After the winning post the track declines quickly to the 1100m mark and from there it climbs steadily to the finish.
Hospitality: There are two bars and two kiosks set up but the venue is BYO so many arrive at the track with a pre-prepared esky.
Picnic tables and bench seats are scattered throughout the public area but they are in hot demand so
arriving well before the first race jumps is advisable. There is no shortage of shade for patrons, with large old elm trees lining the public area adjacent to the home straight. Parking is available on the lawn near the home turn. Overflow vehicles may park in a nearby paddock.
The club hosts six non-TAB picnic meetings each summer with attendances ranging in size from 1,000 people up to 3,000 for Woolamai Cup Day held in early February each year. It’s very much a country racing feel with cattle roaming around just beyond the back straight.
The venue has been used to great success as a staging area for cycling events, running events, car rallies and live music.

Inverloch Recreation Reserve
The Inverloch Recreation Reserve has a football/cricket and a netball court. The southern side of
the ground has cricket nets for practice.
The main pavilion has a small kitchen and licensed bar. It has a canteen that sells hot/cold food, chocolates, lollies and has coffee/tea making facilities.
There is some individual seating available in front of the pavilion. Cars can park around the boundary of the oval.
Four light towers provides enough light on the main oval for training purposes. There are another two smaller light towers being used on the netball court.
Major works worth almost $1million are underway to reconfigure the two existing netball courts to meet Netball Victoria compliance guidelines and construct a new netball pavilion.
The court upgrade involves installing new fencing, LED lighting up to 200LUX and player shelters. The pavilion will consist of female-friendly player change rooms, umpire change rooms, a medical room, a multi-purpose space and kitchenette.
Cowes Recreation Reserve
The Cowes Recreation Reserve has a football/cricket oval, two netball courts and four tennis courts
as part of the Phillip Island Tennis Club. The cricket pitch is synthetic and there’s another three synthetic pitches in the south-east corner of the reserve where the cricket nets are.
The pavilion has a licensed bar. It has a small kitchen which helps service the canteen that sells hot/cold food, chocolates, lollies and has coffee/tea making facilities. There is some bench seating available in front of the pavilion. Cars can park around the boundary of the main oval.

The change rooms and netball complex at Cowes is undergoing renovations. The $1million project will see the existing home and away football change rooms have new showers, toilets, first aid and meeting rooms and an increased area for player changing. Two realigned netball courts will have new lighting that is compliant with Australian standards for training. The Cowes Recreation Reserve is adjacent to the Phillip Island Leisure Centre.
Meeniyan Recreation Reserve
Meeniyan Recreation Reserve is located a short distance from the town centre and the Great Southern Rail Trail. The reserve is utilised for local sport and events including the Meeniyan Garlic Festival.
Car parking available at the recreation reserve, rail trail precinct area and within the town.
Previous events have also worked with nearby Stony Creek Racecourse and included bus services.
Loch Railway Reserve
Loch Railway Siding, the home of Loch Food and Wine Festival and Loch Market. An open grassed area, that runs parallel to the Great Southern Rail Trail. Conveniently located within walking distance of Loch township.
Leongatha Recreation Reserve
Leongatha Recreation Reserve features cycling track, skate park, aquatic centre and community sporting clubs.
Activities include AFL, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Croquet, Cycling, Golf, Little Athletics, Netball, Skating, Small Bore Rifle Club, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball.
Mallacoota Lakes & Inlet
A breezy, waterfront location, taking in the relaxed town set on the tranquil waters of the inlet.
