The Gippsland Plains Rail Trail extends 63 kilometres from Traralgon to Stratford in Central Gippsland, Victoria.

The trail passes through high quality dairy country, and offers panoramic views of the Great Dividing Range to the north, and sweeping 360 degree views across the Great Gippsland Plains.

Visitors can connect to the trail easily via V/Line train from Melbourne or Bairnsdale to either end (Traralgon and/or Stratford).

The trail is perfect for casual and competitive walking, running, cycling with accommodation, food, visitor services and amenities along the route able to facilitate single or multi-day events.
