GIPPSLAND IS ON MELBOURNE’S DOORSTEP

Beginning from Melbourne’s eastern fringe, Gippsland is close and easily accessed. There is dual lane freeway access from Melbourne via the Princes Highway (M1).

V/Line operates hourly passenger train services between Melbourne and the Latrobe Valley (Traralgon, Morwell), with several main stations along the highway, making it a great alternative to driving.

Gippsland is also home to several regional airports where charter services are available at Traralgon, Sale, Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance.

Each of Gippsland’s regional centres has comprehensive city bus networks which are complemented by taxi services.
